abby mccormick

Head Coach & Founder of NoBeFit! (she/her)

Trauma Informed Weightlifting Certified; OPEX CCP L1; B.S. Exercise Science

Abby is a Bethel Park native who was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Exercise, sports & health have been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. Growing up playing tennis in Upper Saint Clair, Abby went on to play four years of varsity tennis at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned a BS in exercise science.

She has been coaching in the fitness industry for over 10 years and been a coach and personal trainer for over eight years. She opened NoBeFit! in April of 2018 in order to provide a personalized, inclusive and relationship-centered fitness program for her community.

She was fortunate to have a fitness coach in her teen years whose impact on her extended into many areas of life. This relationship and experience demonstrated to her the significant impact that excellent coaching can have on an individual. Passionate about sharing that experience with others, she chose to pursue fitness as a lifestyle and coaching as a career.

Abby wants to help people build lives they love and she believes fitness is an essential part in that process. Providing a home where coaches, owners and clients are able to create healthy and fulfilling lives is where her passion lies. This is the meaning behind NobeFit!

Logan carson

Trauma Informed Weightlifting Certified

Logan is a Texas native who has over 12 years of coaching experience in the fitness industry - powerlifting, youth training, CrossFit, & personal training. He worked as a Personal Fitness Coach for over five years Logan before relocating to Pittsburgh in 2019 to join the NoBe team. With his grounded presence, Logan loves to learn about his clients as individuals by understanding their goals, motivation and unique needs. If you are looking to learn how to balance self-care with the daily demands of life, Logan is the coach for you. Logan’s supportive, compassionate style integrates seamlessly into personal growth of all kinds.

“I have always had a passion for helping individuals solve problems. It may have started as tutoring in grade school, evolved into teaching basketball camps in middle school, and then into being a CrossFit coach in later years. With almost a decade of experience coaching now I’ve realized you have to figure out why someone is doing something and where they’re starting from. I enjoy establishing that human connection with clients and getting to know them completely as the individuals that they are. No two people are alike and that is the most fun part for me. Coaching to me is figuring out that human puzzle and helping people find their balance of mind, body, and spirit through fitness. “
